EMAILS FROM PAST CLIENTS:
"I got a job!"
The following list contains the results of clients I have worked
with in the past. I have included emails I received from them,
emails that express what most students' desire - a good job in
their field of choice. Please note that we have worked with many
more career fields than the ones listed here. The greatest satisfaction
comes when students obtain a paid job in their field. I have asked
some past participantfor permission to share some of their comments:
MARKETING:
Before: Since graduating university, she worked
at entry level retail positions.
After: Associate Buyer, with a leading Canadian Outdoor
Sporting Goods Retailer
Since I finished my internship things have been moving
very fast. In fact, the office is relocating and I've been offered
a purchasing analyst position over there. It's a great opportunity
for me. I never would have imagined such quick advancement in
only a few months and I have to thank you two for it all. If it
wasn't for the support and encouragement I received in the program
and guidance that you both offered me, I probably would have given
up on my dream of being a buyer. After all, it was a long shot.
Participating in the program, however, truly
encouraged me to put my 'all' into it and gave me the tools to
exploit that energy. The workshops, the exercises, the projects,
they all helped me to get to another level. When I left,
I was a little scared, but I also had a new found confidence
I didn't possess when arrived. I was now armed with interviewing
skills, public speaking and listening skills, goal setting and
conflict resolution abilities, networking skills and a better
understanding of how to access key information when researching
an industry or career. Most importantly though, it felt really
good to achieve my goal of finding an associate buying position
for my internship. Thank you both again for helping me to realize
this goal - I truly appreciate it. Keep in touch and take care.

Today, he emailed me to come to the office immediately. I went

so overwhelmed from what I've heard! I can't believe it! To you guys follow your dream and do extra effort to show

Things with me are great. I got an actual job offer from

the company. As we were told, "There are four goals to the
program - and one of them is paid employment". So things
are good. I am enjoying my job, my title is "Human Resources

HR as the company has operations in different countries in the
world. The hours are great. The company is so flexible I can come
